So much has happened the last few weeks... here's a quick summary:
*We packed up everything we own, tossed it into a moving truck, and drove the 12 hours to Utah. (Well, maybe I should say Brad and his family drove. I flew to San Diego for a week to visit my family.)
*Brad started back to work just 1 day after the move and has really enjoyed the atmosphere and style of the office here in Salt Lake. (He is still with the same company he was with in San Fran.)
*I had a fabulous time in San Diego. I didn't do much, but after prepping for a move, packing, being 8 months pregnant, etc. it was exactly what I wanted. I also got to see some of my best gal pals which is always fun, and one of them threw me a fabulous baby shower!
*I am trying to make the most of my "free time" now that I am not working. It seems like the first few weeks were full of errands-- switching car registration, licensing, insurance, doctors, etc... but this past week I finally had the chance to start on a few projects that have been neglected for a while. One of them is our wedding album. My goal is to have it done by the time baby comes!
*Speaking of baby, I am now officially 34 weeks and about 8 1/2 months along. Here is a picture of me at 8 months:

*Only a little less than 5 weeks to go until baby time! Because of my previous back surgery, the doctor (as well as Brad and I) feels that a c-section will be the safest way to deliver. We are scheduled for
Friday September 3! I can't believe how close that is starting to sound. I am getting more uncomfortable each day, and it is getting harder to sleep at night, but I have no complaints. The doctors had warned me that pregnancy could really bother my lower back injury and sciatic nerve, and that I may have to spend some/most of my pregnancy on bedrest. With only a little over a month to go, my lower back is still doing great. I have felt very watched over this entire pregnancy and am so grateful for the good health I have had.
*And the next best piece of news-- we found a house! It's in Herriman, Utah in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of parks and young families. We love this house more than the last and are hoping and praying all goes through this time. We are scheduled to close August 25-- yes, only 9 days before baby comes. It will be a crazy time... but I don't think it will get any less crazy after the baby comes anyways!
